Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or similar industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing our QC Raw Materials inspection, sampling, and testing program. This role will involve coordination with external laboratories, creation of a visual inspection reference library, and management of the sample retention program.
Key Responsibilities:
- QC Raw Materials Program Management:
- Develop and implement the QC Raw Materials inspection, sampling, and testing program.
- Establish and oversee protocols for the inspection and testing of raw materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Coordination with External Laboratories:
- Liaise with external laboratories as needed for sample shipping, testing, and results analysis.
- Prepare and populate sample submission forms and ensure timely and accurate communication with external partners.
- Visual Inspection Reference Library:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive visual inspection reference library.
- Develop and update applicable documentation to support inspection and testing processes.
- Sample Retention Program:
- Manage and own the sample retention program, including the storage, documentation, and tracking of samples.
- Ensure samples are retained in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, sample submissions, and retention activities.
- Generate reports and provide insights on raw materials quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in QC raw materials inspection, sampling, and testing.
- Previous experience coordinating with external laboratories and managing sample retention programs.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to establish and oversee complex programs.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and documentation practices.
- Considerations:
- Materials management experience is a plus.
