[October 10, 2018 - Lehigh Valley, Pa.] Azzur Labs today announces the appointment of Erin Mumper to Vice President. A five-year veteran of Azzur Labs and one of its longest-tenured employees, Ms. Mumper will lead lab’s 20 employees, as well as oversee the company’s quality and strategic initiatives. Azzur Labs, located in Schnecksville, Pa. with a satellite laboratory outside of Raleigh, NC, is a contract laboratory that serves the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology industries.
Mumper, who holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State, joined Azzur Labs in 2013 shortly after its founding. Bringing with her a biology background, Ms. Mumper quickly moved through the lab’s scientific ranks exponentially expanding her responsibilities as she took on multiple roles throughout the organization. She is a member of the Controlled Environment Testing Association (CETA), the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), and the American Society for Quality (ASQ), as well as a mentor for Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Allentown.
