Job Description

Azzur Group is looking for a Sales Development Representative in our Hatboro location.  This person will interact professionally and proactively with leads, prospects, and clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries so that field personnel can engage in meaningful dialog related to future projects.  Tasks include gathering information, updating the database/CRM, making outbound calls, sending emails, and scheduling and facilitating virtual meetings. 

Responsibilities
  • Receive Inbound Leads: The goal is to help our Business Development Managers (BDMs) identify and enrich leads that will ultimately foster revenue opportunities for Azzur Group.

  • Validate leads role, title, and function using provided resources to quickly research inbound leads. Update and enter leads accurately into CRM and other sales automation tools as needed. Data hygiene is critical

  • Outbound Prospecting: Call, email, nurture and schedule meetings with leads and existing clients to support BDM/SME teams in response to the requests of the BDMs and leadership.

  • Other Sales Development tasks as assigned, i.e. Trade Shows and industry events; management of Live Chat

  • Supporting field sales efforts in achieving their territory and market business plans by handling customer inquiries and providing support

  • Communicate with sales, marketing, and other subject matter experts when necessary to provide quality customer guidance

  • Nurture opportunities and leads with a relevant and straightforward approach that invites ongoing collaboration

  • Handling multiple responsibilities and job tasks (multi-tasking) as needed.

  • Demonstrating attention to detail.

  • Establishing rapport and maintaining positive communication with others, demonstrating respect and support, cooperating and flexibility with change.
Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years’ experience.
