The CPM role includes, but is not limited to the following:
● construction project planning, estimation & schedule, and budget
development/maintenance (~$15-$20M projects);
● routine status reporting to exec management;
● estimation of jobs, design input and issue spotting;
● ensuring proper permitting and addressing needs/demands of local/municipal authorities;
● ensuring compliance to codes & inspection;
● overall construction project management;
● acting as the “buyers representative” with oversight of selection, and management of General Contractor(s) and any 3rd party purchasers, as applicable.
Requires at least ten (10) years of relevant experience working as/with General Contractors in construction and construction management on industrial and Life Science Projects. Extensive trade base knowledge and contacts preferably within the relevant subcontracting disciplines. Broadly knowledgeable in areas of construction, including applicable OSHA & local construction laws. Specific experience required in construction of ISO 7/8 cleanrooms & laboratory environments designed to support pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing processes as well as office/common areas. Ideally we are looking for the right individual that is capable of rolling up their sleeves while maintaining a big-picture/critical-path view. Project Management software proficiency required. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), time/task management skills, and teamwork mindset. Multilingual is a plus.
Local to Philadelphia HQ (Hatboro) is preferred; will consider other locations where we have business offices. 50%-75% travel (nationwide) is expected, subject to COVID-related restrictions.
