Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an independent, outgoing, motivated, initiative professional looking to apply their knowledge & experience and expertise.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday in the office additional hours as needed.
Travel: 25% without any restrictions. Occasionally scheduled in advance on-call 24/7 (few times/year) and when needed.

Essential Functions and Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
- Traveling, installing, training, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on all company diagnostic instrumentations on-site
and off-site.
- Responsible for high quality day to day phone support
responding to customer inquiries, providing technical support, customer training on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, a
team player, and the ability to operate with minimum
supervision.
- Work on new test systems, make recommendations and assist
in developing and writing test procedures, standard operations
protocol, and develop training material.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of medical instrument systems technology to
include mechanical, electrical and fluidics. Knowledge of
chemistry and software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of lab equipment and tools such as:
soldering irons, digital volt meters, power supplies, temperature
measurement equipment, etc.
- Ability to disassemble, troubleshoot and re-assemble
instrument sub-assemblies.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to
interface with customers and associates in a positive
professional manner.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to think and act in a logical and methodical way.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to utilize
computer-based tools for reports, e-mail and for general
communication. - Ability to solve complex mechanical / system
problems utilizing technical manuals, publications, and
engineering support.
Additional Qualification/Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of servicing clinical diagnostic and laboratory equipment, bachelor’s degree in EE, Biomedical Engineeringpreferred, Medical Technology or equivalent years of experience.
